Bianca Modo
Founder & President
-
Bianca Modo's journey to becoming a fierce advocate for survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking began with a deeply personal story. As a survivor of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse herself, Bianca intimately understands the pain, shame, and isolation that so many girls and young women experience in the aftermath of trauma. But rather than allowing her experiences to define her, Bianca chose to rewrite her story and use her voice to create change.
It was this unshakable determination that led Bianca to pen her groundbreaking book, "Unscarred: Prayers for Healing." Part memoir, part rallying cry, the book quickly became an Amazon best-seller and a beacon of hope for survivors around the world. Through her raw, honest storytelling, Bianca showed readers that healing is possible and that even the deepest scars can be transformed into sources of strength and resilience.
Inspired by the outpouring of support and solidarity she received from readers, Bianca knew she had to do more. In 2019, she founded the Bianca Modo Foundation with a bold vision: to create a world where every girl and woman can live free from violence and exploitation, and where survivors are empowered to lead with purpose and impact.
But Bianca's impact extends far beyond the Foundation. As the CEO of Modo Global, a brand & communication consultancy, she has helped countless purpose-driven organizations and leaders amplify their impact and influence. Her expertise in brand strategy, storytelling, and thought leadership has earned her a reputation as a go-to expert for entrepreneurs, executives, and nonprofit leaders looking to create meaningful change.
Through all of her work, Bianca remains committed to the same core mission that drove her to start the Foundation: to create a world where every survivor is seen, heard, and believed, and where every girl and woman has the opportunity to thrive. And she knows that this mission is not one she can accomplish alone.
That's why Bianca is always looking for new ways to collaborate with like-minded leaders and organizations and to inspire others to join the movement for change. Whether through her writing, speaking, consulting, or advocacy work, Bianca is a tireless champion for the power of storytelling to heal, to empower, and to transform lives.
As she often says, "When we share our stories, we create space for others to do the same. And when we come together as a community of survivors and allies, there's no limit to what we can achieve."
